I just got sorted into Hufflepuff and I dont understand all the hatred I've been sensing towards us puff on the web. Quite honestly, I never really paid much attention to Hufflepuff so, when I got sorted here, I thought it would be and adventure for, something good so I would learn about the house that I knew the lest. And now, despite all the hatred/indifference from what seems like most of the potter fans throughout the web, I've come to love the puffs, the house and the proud people that are in it. I'm glad to say I am now a proud Hufflepuff too xD

Welcome to the forum all you new Hufflepuffs. It's great to have you all here.

You'll find many a proud 'puff here Kill. Many people just don't seem to understand that it is not about being the flashiest house, it's about being a house that is strong together, close-nit and kind. We 'puffs certainly are that! [Not that I'm not saying the other houses aren't, before anyone says anything. xD] Maybe people just don't get us because a good way to understand a house is to see what they're common room is like, and we're the only house skilled enough to keep intruders out.

Ahh, I always knew I'd either be sorted into hufflepuff or slytherin, and ironically enough (toward the end of the sorting) it asked whether I'd want to be in hufflepuff or slytherin, and of course I chose the us puffs =D I have to say though, one thing I find conflicting is that I doubt I'd enjoy herbology, I love plants, but I like protecting them, rather than raising them and looking after them.

It's not because the head of Hufflepuff was, in the HP series, the herbology professor that we all shoud be good at it or like it. Later, the professor was Neville and he obviously wasn't head of Hufflepuff =)
So, I don't see any conflicts.
