My wand is 11 1/2 inches Hard made from Hazel wood with a unicorn hair core. I was a bit iffy on the unicorn hair in the beginning but after reading that the combination of the two resulted in a wand that is so bonded to me that if i die it dies as well I fell in love. Who doesn't want that kind of devotion?

I wouldn't have minded, except I wouldn't want dragon heart string because I associate it with dark magic/evil wizards. I'm happy with the wand I got :)

I really love my wand :D I was happy that I got a unicorn hair for my core, I love the unicorns. I would have been happy with the phoenix feather as well but definitely did not want a dragon heart string. Mine was 14.25 inches, rowan, unicorn hair and quite supple. I'd never heard of a rowan tree before, but they look nice. I think I would have preferred something along the lines of an evergreen type tree like pine or cedar. I also thought vinewood was neat and it was my celtic wand wood, but overall I'm very happy with my wand :)

Well in the height question I put tall for my age (I'm around 5'7 so I was torn between average and tall haha). My sister had a really similar wand, only I think hers is 14.5 inches. Although you don't put in a specific height, its fitting since she's the tallest in our family haha! I'm pretty happy with my wand but I wished my sister's wand wasn't so similar to mine, she's such a copycat lol

I would have liked it to have Veela hair as core. But that's impossible.

And I would be OBSESSED with my wand if I had the same as Lucius. That would be... amazing.

I wanted Ebony or Larch. One of the wands I LEAST wanted was English Oak so guess what I got? WITH A UNICORN CORE! Either other core I would have been thrilled with but english oak with a unicorn hair? At least I can console myself that Merlin likely had the same wand. :P
