That's pretty true Bex, but to be fair, those attributes also sound pretty descriptive of Snapes personality (besides the whole "bold" part), and he was a Slytherin through and through. (Even though he's most likely to have Birch as his wand wood since it correlates with his birthday on the Celtic calendar; but you get my point)
While I don't consider myself noble, I find myself being rather self sacrificing for those that I love.
It's pretty awesome your brother and I have the same wand wood and core though! He's the first person I've met with both of them.
