Mine isn't simular at all. It's apple with unicorn tail hair, 14 1/2 inches. Who has that wand? I didn't know apple was an option! Tasty!!! :D

What does it mean when your wand is ''unyielding'' I always get a wand with that flexibility.

My wand: 10 ¾ inches, unicorn core, pine wood, unyielding flexibility.

I tried checking tumblr but I haven't found anyone with the same wand. :( Aaaagh, what a shame. It would be so interesting to see.

I've only ever 2 people who have apple wands other then myself. Both of them were Hufflepuffs.

deaniebeanie: Your wand is cypress and phoenix feather right? So is my brother's. He's in Gryffindor, and to be honest, cypress tends to chose Gryffie-kids. Not to say you're Gryffie-esque xP just:

"Cypress wands are associated with nobility. The great medieval wandmaker, Geraint Ollivander, wrote that he was always honoured to match a cypress wand, for he knew he was meeting a witch or wizard who would die a heroic death. Fortunately, in these less blood-thirsty times, the possessors of cypress wands are rarely called upon to lay down their lives, though doubtless many of them would do so if required. Wands of cypress find their soul mates among the brave, the bold and the self-sacrificing: those who are unafraid to confront the shadows in their own and others’ natures."

Oh my! Yay for apple wands? The description for Apple wood read that such wands are a bit rare, such coincidence that two more people have Apple on this last page! :)
Mine is Apple with a Dragon core and is Slightly Springy, 13 inches.
With Apple not liking Dark magic, Dragon Heartstrings being temperamental and the whole wand being Slightly Springy - good luck to whoever tries to steal it! xD
Describes me pretty well though -shrugs-

Seems the contrast you mentioned is actually showing, kinda! :o
Vine wands get very attached to their master, from what I remember - they are very sensitive when detecting their master, who usually is a bit extraordinary when it comes to future ambitions - and Ollivander says some Vine wands reacted just to their master walking through the door!
On the other side, it says your wand is Supple, I believe that was referring to how easily it would submit to another. I doubt it's actually supple, being Vine and all, though!
You go, Ash! xD Such interesting and amazing combos <3
