I started the first book again this morning on the bus! Half way through chapter 3.

Mrs Figg, does she turn out to be a wizard posing as a muggle to watch harry?

She is a squib Tim, friend of Dumbledore, she was I think asked by him to keep an eye on Harry yes.

Not going to post it all, but Pottermore have an analysis of the first chapter of PS up.

Gotta say, the Hufflepuff paperback edition looks way better than the other house covers. The black doesn't contrast enough with the dark background on those covers, I'm surprised they went to print with it.

Have to agree Tim, I bought the hardback because it just looked so much nicer.

Thing is, the crest is only embossed on the dust jacket, not the book itself, I'm sure Fantastic Beasts and Cursed Child both had embossed designs on the actual book, so no idea why this one doesn't.

I also bought the illustrated PS, which is absolutely gorgeous. Does anyone have that one?

Mine should arrive this morning! I noticed the artwork wasn't on the hard cover, cheaper production and extra profits I guess.

I wanted to but it a while back but never did.

My new Slytherin Edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is suppose to arrive in the mail tomorrow. I can't wait to see what it's like.

In case you missed it...

The Wizarding World Book Club on Twitter will have an open discussion on the next theme Friday, June 30th at 4 PM BST.

The WW Book Club discussions take place at the same time every Friday on Twitter.

For Potterheads living in Texas and in other Central Standard Time areas in the United States, that is 10:00 AM for us.

FYI, England is six hours ahead of Central Standard Time.

I'm honestly not a big fan of any of the paperback 20th anniversary editions, only the hardback editions (they just look so much prettier and I want the Ravenclaw one SO bad)!

I just thought of something... I forgot to check if the Slytherin Edition I bought the other day was paperback or hardcover. I was so excited to be ordering it that I didn't even think about that point. I finally found a link to ordering the special edition and I hastily ordered it right away. Oh well, I'll be happy with it either way.

In fact, the book is suppose to arrive in the mail today. I bought it from the UK and I paid for the extra shipping cost.

I didn't want to wait for several weeks before I finally got it.
