I've added a new Cone snail shell to my collection, though I'm not sure what species it is. Sent an email (and a photo of the shell) to the Queensland museum for identification. Hopefully they'll write back soon.

My new shell has been identified as the Striated Cone, a large fish-eating species and potentially very dangerous to humans.
