I FINALLY finished my felt fellowship! Here's a picture if anyone was interested:

And then I had some spare time (for once) and I made a Sherlock and John. I'll make some Harry Potter figures when I have the time (not for a while (exams))

I've always been a pretty mediocre drawer, but I got an itch to do it recently. This is my first attempt to draw something without looking at a reference image.

The trio is meant to look fierce and determined, but I'm afraid Harry just looks a bit bored. He also looks much more like Dan than I intended.

Hermione's neck/chest/shoulder/arm area looks weird to me. Not sure how to fix it.

The wands are just scratched in. I intend to clean them up later.

Any advice is welcome!

I think it is looking great Rose. :D Maybe if you use some shading with the hair and neck on Hermione it will give you the depth you need to make the neck look the way you want it. As for Harry, maybe furrows in his forehead or have his mouth slightly open or his pupils higher. I don't know. I would have to play with it myself to figure that out.

Thanks for the tips, Hermione! I've worked on Harry a bit and am much happier with the results. I raised the pupils like you suggested and also slanted his eyes/eyebrows a bit and curved his mouth down instead of being straight. I tried adding the furrows in his brow like you suggested, and it did add to the overall "serious" look, but I thought it made his forehead too busy with his scar. I think I'll try adding some furrows in the shading process to see how it looks. Will work on Hermione in the shading process like you suggested as well. Here's the updated Harry:

I like the concept Rose ^^

May I ask, how did you draw? Did you use guidelines/sketch structure before colouring? It helps A LOT =)
