Here is my latest drawing W.I.P. - just to prove that I am, in fact, drawing. XD It's fanart for a story on Tumblr I'm watching intently called Parallel. You can read about it here!

If you click on the image, it'll re-direct you to the same image on my Deviantart.

Yeah, I guess that would be it Skyye... although I don't really know if I want it for myself... I think I'll put it up for grabs.

Anyhow, I'm now involved in a new project that doesn't actually have anything to do with HP. Well, it could, in the future, if I chose to make HP figures, but for now it's all LOTR. If people are wondering how I made this, I felted it. I can't really explain things very well, though, so if you don't know what that is go look it up on the Internet. Anyhow, here's a picture of what I have so far.

I'm going to make the whole Fellowship eventually (as soon as I can get some more colours of wool), but so far that's Merry, Frodo, Gandalf, Sam, and Pippin (left to right), in case you can't tell. I do have an Aragorn figurine too, but to include him I'd have to take another picture and then I wouldn't get the amazing background (I took that from the deck of my family's vacation cottage, and to retake the picture I'd have to wait until I go there again, meaning this summer) so Aragorn is being left out of the picture. Also, he doesn't even have a sword yet or anything (although to be fair, only Frodo has a sword so far).

I can't really say I know much about Lord of the Rings, but they are very nice Shadow!
Is it made by the large needle stabbing into the bunches of felt repeatedly? I've a friend who always does it, but she's only done it to make animals-- never cute little figures!
I'd love to see some Harry Potter characters too! :D

Aww thanks :) I can't take all the credit though; I got the idea (and the knowledge of how to make them) from a friend of mine, who has actually made the whole Fellowship and a HECK of a lot of elves. (this is the friend who is, if possible, even more obsessed with Tolkien than I am. I know, it's a mind-blowing concept  )
Aspy, yes, that is pretty much how you do it. Well, I made the bunches of felt, too, but the needle is how I applied the hair and clothing. And I have actually made some animals with this too (I made little felt bunny rabbits for my family for Easter).
Aaaaand I only have three characters left to make from the Fellowship (Legolas, Gimli, and Boromir), so when I'm done that I'll start on HP characters.

Riddle, if I open an online shop to sell these (which is unlikely but nevertheless possible) I'll make sure I advertise it to you and I'll probably send you a free one because you appreciate LOTR (but don't tell anyone! :D)

Thanks Hermione :) There isn't much of a pattern... all I currently have to go on is the amount of wool to use for the head (about a palmful before it's felted for the hobbits (and dwarves), maybe a bit more for humans/elves/wizards), and then the only "pattern" is to cut the cylindrical pieces to size (for arms, legs, and torso), and needle-felt on stuff until it looks pretty.
