I hope the in-laws go well Elena hopefully nothing crazy happens. And hope you enjoy your meal with your uncle on Saturday.

Oh that is always fun to learn about the mayflower and the 1st thanksgiving. I know in my first few years in elementary school we did a thanksgiving meal in class.

No big plans for me just staying at home and having a meal here.

I hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving tomorrow!

Thanks Jag, I hope you have a good Thanksgiving too!

They had a "feast" at school on Tuesday but it was things a 5 year old will eat like popcorn and chexmix lol But the idea behind it is what is important and they had fun.

Nothing too major but did go up north to visit family and help prepare for the dinner. I am also a little surprised how fast the year went by. One minute it was like Valentine's and now it's Thanksgiving heading into the Christmas season. . . does make one pause and reflect on things.

@Elena, hoping everything goes smoothly at your in-laws today. How did your oldest like learning about the First American Thanksgiving? I remember feeling all honored and excited when I first heard the history behind Thanksgiving. Also, popcorn and Chexmix is always good and it gives a nod to the Peanuts' Thanksgiving special, so win-win :).

@Jag, staying home and enjoying good food and family is always good. I hope you are having a wonderful time :)

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful holiday, both at the in-laws and with my family. Now on to Christmas!

Tee- He really enjoyed learning about it. Whenever he heard "Mayflower" he got all excited and started to tell us about the ship and the Pilgrims. Super cute :D

Sorry I missed this Little_Tee. Did you watch the Superbowl? Did anybody watch it? I didn't do anything for Mardi Gras. I did watch part of the Superbowl. I missed the halftime show. What did those who saw it think of the baby/monkey/dog commercial? I thought that was really stupid. Sorry if you guys liked it.

I didn't watch any of the super bowl this year. Never been a big fan of football.

Just want to remind everyone that standard time ends tomorrow morning at 2am so it will skip forward to 3 am. So you lose a hour of sleep.

I never like changing the clocks. I just wish we would pick standard time or daylight savings time and stay with it all year. I know it only a hour time change but it always take me a few days to get used to it.

Thank you Jag. :D I agree. I wish we didn't have to change the clocks. I think the next President should change that.
