Firstly, let's make sure your are running Pottermore inside the right software. What browser do you use?

Yes, but till now you haven't done any of the serious things on Pottermore. The point where you've stranded is where everybody strands that doesn't have the right software set-up.

Unfortunately Safaari is for Apple, isn't it? I don't have a Mac...
Hmm, first try to upgrade your Adobe Flash player to the newest version. (If you already have the newest version, re-install it anyway.) (If there is a Firefox for Mac, use that instead of Safaari; we know that PM works well with FF) Then restart Safaari and make sure to only play Pottermore in 1 window from now on (errors occur with multiple windows). Also make sure you close the Pottermore window once in a while; Adobe can get confused and cause errors.

I've done all of that, and it's still unlocked. I even tried with google chrome, and it didn't work.. Maybe if I try in some Windows, it will work.

I do think trying it in Windows is your best bet (Firefox v11 or 12, Adobe Flash v11 or better). It may or may not work. The problem is that just having a mismatch of software is only one of the possible problems. And, believe me, a simple mismatch is the problem you'll want to have; any of the other will require Pottermore's help to fix and may put you out of the game for weeks...

Should it work in Windows, make sure you do the Sorting there as well. After you've done the Sorting, you'll have access to most of the game and there are no points left that can seriously disable your access to the game if you get stuck there. Still, I would recommend switching to Windows every time you run into a true game element for the first time.
