Hi everyone just a friendly reminder! We have been notifying quite a few members recently that they are breaking signature guidelines, please do check when you add things to your signature or change it, whether it is in breach of the rules or not. Are their guidelines regarding links in one's signature? For example, if I were to link out to a website that was Potterverse related, would that be permitted?

From the main rules thread:

Links to other places are allowed. However, these links should not lead to websites containing inappropriate content, or websites with the sole purpose of selling a product. Diagon Alley shop/fireplace owners are allowed to link to their Diagon Alley shop/fireplace.

The forum settings have now been changed so that it should be impossible to put an image larger than 500x200 in your signature.

in fact the only reason it wasn't on that already was because of my own sig, but it seems to stay there when I change the setting so yay xD

The total size of 700x300 will still have to be checked manually. If you are ever unsure if your signature fits these guidelines, either check it with my signature or ask a moderator to do it for you.
