I lovelove love musicals! I haven't seen as many as I'd like, but that's what you get for living in the armpit of Canada. *sigh*

I have seen...
Les Miserables (2)
Phantom of the Opera (2)
Cats (3)
Brigadoon
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2)
Wicked
The Lion King
Footloose
Grease
The Sound of Music
Chicago (2)

I know there has to be a few I'm missing but I can't remember them now. I've seen the movies for Hairspray and Rent, but haven't seen them live. Same with Mamma Mia.

Play Musicals That I Have Seen/Been In:
●Wizard of Oz - A school production, I was Glinda. I sand only three word; 'Yes it's real'.
●The Big Bad Brother Wolf - A school production, I had to sing the opening song.
●(I forgot the title but it was about a rabbit who sung with it's grandma) - School field trip.

Play Musicals That I Wish To See:
●Hairspray - I know all the songs by heart. :3
●Wicked - Also know all the songs by heart.
● Priscilla: The Dessert Queen
●Mama Mai
●Les Miserables - It was a school field trip, but I couldn't go because of a cold.

I know my lists are so small. x) But I only found out what musicals were a couple months ago.

Scarlethazel, that would be Rocky Horror Picture Show wouldn't it, I'm a massive fan i've been to see it live a few times, not as many as my auntie though, Ashdust, she's older than me and went to see it loads back in the 80's when a production from our local theatre toured the UK for about 6 or 7 years. And I love Little Shop Of Horrors, the songs in that are so cool, I have the soundtrack and listen to it all the time...

I love really cheesy Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals and have seen most of his including
Phantom of the Opera
Starlight Express
Joseph
Jesus Christ Superstar
Cats
Sunset Boulevard

also seen
Chicago
Oliver

Musicals! I am a fan, particularly of the classics by Cole Porter and Irving Berlin. I will attempt to list them all here, but I will doubtless be forgetting several, so I'll probably have to update this regularly, haha.

Live (Professional)
Spring Awakening (I cried.)
Peanuts (By a very small group. It was about the Peanuts gang in high school. Really good, and also really sad. Charlie Brown had spiky red hair, though, which was strange.)
Wicked (Well, not yet... But I have tickets to see it in a couple weeks, and I've more or less memorized the soundtrack.)

Live (High School/College/Community--audience or backstage)
Into the Woods (haaaaaaaaaaaated this. SO much)
Thoroughly Modern Millie
The Pirates of Penzance
Urinetown (Weird.)
Alladin (By a group of 11-13 year olds. Cute. But slightly painful.)

Movies
Spoiler: show
Nine
Moulin Rouge
Fiddler on the Roof
Legally Blonde
Chicago
A Very Potter Musical
De-Lovely
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Titanic: The Animated Musical (Don't do it. Just don't.)
Phantom of the Opera
Cats (I watched this twice daily for about a month in my childhood. Kind of sick of it. >>; Also memorized.)
Rent
Oliver
Newsies
West Side Story
Grease (Sooo sick of this)
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
All Disney Princess movies (Except Enchanted and Rapunzel--was that a musical?)
And most other Disney movies
Hairspray
The Sound of Music (Went to Salzburg. It's so pretty~! It rains all the time, though, and the places in the movie are not at all what they seem!)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Mary Poppins
Little Shop of Horrors
The Wiz (Lol.)
The Apple (Lol.)
Across the Universe (Meh.)
The Producers
((Good grief, I am missing SO many of these. I'll have to finish this later.))

Opera (Sadly, never live. Yet.)
Rigoletto
Don Giovanni
((Alllso forgetting things...Hm.))

Scarlet: WHAT. There's an Evil Dead Two musical?? Where can I find this?

Wow, love, love, love musicals. Used to work at a big ticket agency in London so got lots of free tickets to go to the West End shows, Rather than having empty seats the theatres would ring us up an hour before the show and offer us some tickets and if it was quiet in the call centre some of us got to go, best job I've ever had.

Favourites are Chicago, Phantom, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats and The Rocky Horror Show. As Heartrose pointed out the small theatre in the town where I grew up put on a production of the RHS in the 80's which toured the whole of the UK for about 8 years, we used to go every night of the week when it was in town, and some friends and me started organising trips to go and see it round the country as well, so much fun.

ShadowAnya the one musical I haven't seen that I really want to is Les Miserables, Have you seen it live? Has some of the best songs ever in it.

Halycon let us know what you think of Wicked live when you go, I'd never heard any of the songs but saw it over Christmas in London and loved it.

My school put it on one year. They actually did a pretty good job of it for having not a big stage but they used everything around them well

Ash, that's so awesome! That sounds like a lot of fun!

I haven't seen Les Mis yet either. Reeeeeeeally would like to! My evil cousins are going on the night of my graduation party, of course, and they didn't invite us, despite the fact that they're driving alll the way down to a theatre very near our house. They're always telling me I should see it because it's the greatest thing ever, too. But that's another rant for another time. I wonder if I should add a "Musicals To See" section... (OH I FORGOT ONE. Urinetown. That one was... um. Interesting. And pretty funny, surprisingly.)
